Ken Wilson FICW - Managing Director

Ken has a trade background as a carpenter and was self-employed for 17 years; he was employed as a site manager and ran his own business for three years. This all round knowledge of the building trade gave him the opportunity to gain a place on the Clerk of Works Course at The School of Building Technology, Nene College, Northampton.

He became a Clerk of Works in 1982 and a Corporate Member of the Institute of Clerk of Works in 1984; he was elected a Fellow in 1997.

In 1990 Ken started K.G.Wilson Consultants as a Sole Trader and then in 2000 became K.G.Wilson Consultants Ltd., a Clerks of Works Practice, over-seeing projects throughout the UK and overseas.
